Applications

This product contains phosphorus and chlorine in its molecules, with significant flame-retardant effects. It also has plasticising, moisture-proof, and anti-static functions, classifying it as an additive-type flame retardant. It is mainly used in the production of rigid (soft) polyurethane foam, cellulose acetate, ethyl cellulose resin, phenolic plastics, polyvinyl acetate, and gun foam sealants. It is especially suitable for ASTM84(Ⅱ), and exhibits low viscosity in compound polyurethane foam, unsaturated resins, and phenolic plastics at low temperatures.
